We want to organise the vigil in an open and transparent way so that everyone can see what it costs, what equipment it takes to put on the event and hopefully have some funds left over so that we can improve it each year, and support our own and other projects.
Over time we want to be able to build up our resources so that we are in a position to help other events start-up, and organise ourselves so that others can see what is involved and organise their own events.
During the first two events, we were fortunate to be generously sponsored by Pink Punters/Rainbow Operations from Milton Keynes who provided most of the equipment we needed including the stage, gazebos village, pa system and lighting equipment. Unfortunately they are not in the position to give us the same support this year.
We estimate that we need to raise at least £8,000 to cover the costs of the event this year, including the costs of using the square, insurance and equipment. It is a lot of money to raise, but we think that it is worth it so we hope that you will do what you can to support us.

We are currently negotiating with a couple of organisations who have expressed an interest in supporting the event this year, we sponsoring this years event, and hope to be making announcements about this soon.
